Get started with WhatsApp integration
Creating integrations is straightforward with our dedicated "Send Template Message"node in the Automation module. You can find more detailed information on the configuration of this node in our User Guide.
To get started with WhatsApp integration into your workflow, first, you need to define the scenario you want to create. For instance, you want to send a message to customers on WhatsApp after they perform a certain action. Once you have a clear business story in mind, you can recreate it easily in our Automation module.
Start the workflow by defining a trigger that meets your business needs. Consider any additional steps that customers may perform before the WhatsApp message is sent to them. Once you've done that, add a "Message Sending Template" node to your workflow.
Before you start working with the “Send Template Message” node, there are a few prerequisites to keep in mind. These include creating an account in Meta for Developers and a message template. For a full list of prerequisites, see our User Guide.
After meeting all requirements, you are ready to create a connection with WhatsApp. When it comes to the message content, it’s created in the Meta portal in the form of a template. You can mark some dynamic elements in this template as variables, such as, the name of the customer, products from the abandoned cart, and more. The values of these variables will already be defined in Synerise and personalized when sent to a specific customer.
